Pill & Pillow Red Packet
pill & pillow is a web and interactive design studio based in Hong Kong. For Chinese New Year, the company designed an unconventional lai see packet to usher in the new year with “HEAL❤️H JOY WEAL$H”.
The lai see packets were printed on gold and silver papers, with over 10 colors on its cover. To achieve neat outlines and maximize vividity, a layer of white toner was first printed on the metallic papers before adding a second layer of Pantone and process colors.
